Prof. Rathi, a visionary, a messiah for the poor, thought of providing low cost affordable housing for the poor and lower middle class. He spent lot of money for reducing the components of the building by having a Research and Development. He took the guidance from the government bodies and different research and development centers of India for promoting low cost houses scheme.
The company was Incorporated as Ramdeobaba Builders and Housing Finance Private Limited on 7th June 1988converted into a Public Limited Company on 28th August 1990 which was renamed as Asahi Infrastructure & Projects Limited on 15th January, 2002.
The Company has shown progress in real estate development and has completed a number of Low Cost Affordable Housing Colonies, costing unit cost between Rs. 28,000/- to 2,00,000/- only, as per the need and requirement of the local need.
During the period the Company has gained technical knowledge of Precast Ferro Cement Technology and produced number of items, which resulted in reducing the time and cost of construction.
Company has Joint Ventures Shri Ramdeobaba Charitable Society and assisted the Society in various task like conduction of survey, preparation of project report and actual execution of work during implementation of ValmikiAmbedkarMalinBasti Awas Yojana (VAMBAY) and Integrated Housing and Slum development Programme (IHSDP) under JNNURM, a Central Govt. sponsored subsidized scheme especially for slum development in Urban.
The Company is engaged in urban infrastructure development of small towns where in the satellite township will be developed for lower income group people. The company’s main object is infrastructure development i.e. housing colonies with all infrastructures like roads, water supply, drainage, sewerage, street lights, park etc. Housing is of the basic need of the human being. The segment of people company focused is “Low Income Group i.e. Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Low Income Group (LIG), and partly Middle Income Group (MIG). The family income ranging from Rs. 3000/- to Rs. 8000/- per month with the economy in a buoyant mode, as also the real estate activities, the Company has made significant progress in building its team after analyzing varied sets of skills, knowledge, attitude and behavior of its manpower As demand for real estate is growing exponentially, AIPL family is increasing to meet the new challenges.
